Escaping Your Problems Won't Make Them Disappear

Everybody has his own problems; some just choose to overlook them rather than to dwell on them, which is partially good, not unless it goes way too far to be considered cowardly. Overlooking your problems won’t make them nonexistent... it will only prolong your agony, and delay the whole process of solving them.

Let me share an experience I've had with the said topic. There was once a phase in my life wherein I was drowned with multiple problems. The only reason they've gone from a few to multiple is because I keep on procrastinating. I was gullible enough to believe that the solutions to my problems will come knocking on my door, but they never do, and I’m glad I've come to realize that they never will. I was depressed because I nobody seems to care that I was slowly falling apart. I was sad because no one would help me, no one gave a shit. But then I later on found out that the reason nobody was helping me was because I wasn't even helping myself. I've sulked about my problems instead of contributed in solving them. And come to think of it, that made me more emotional. What a stupid, stupid thing to do.

So before I see other people do what I did, I’m giving out an advice. If something is bothering you right now, pluck up the courage, or rather, the confidence to solve it. Don’t let your problems be big enough to eat you up. Always remember that you are bigger than your problems, and so is God. Asking a little help from Him isn't a bad idea as long as you help yourself in the process. But keep in mind that you create your problems, and just like inventors who create their own robots, you have the ability to dismantle them, only you know where the self-destruct button on your robot is, be brave enough to use it.
