1. IU's Songs
I've been into all sorts of genres, and lately I'm into KPOP: Specifically, IU. I don't really understand her songs at first but even with the rough English translations, her writing is incredible. I can only imagine how good it sounds from its native language. All her songs are saved in my playlist but here are some I always play on repeat: Celebrity, Ending Scene, Dear Name, Love Poem, Lullaby, Through the Night
I love a good ballad and meaningful lyrics. Try listening to her. Her songs are healing (she also sounds exactly the same live)
2. Folklore (And other Taylor Swift songs)
Tay-tay never fails. I really love artists who write their own lyrics (and write them WELL). Taylor and IU are two of my favorites because I can really feel what they're trying to tell the listeners; the emotions they're trying to convey.
3. Break My Heart - Dua Lipa
I also love Dua Lipa. She's balances my playlist of lonely ballads.
4. All I've Ever Known - Eva Noblezada (Hadestown Musical)
I am a musical nerd. I have a separate playlist dedicated solely for my favorite musical numbers. Right now, I'm into Hadestown and Jagged Little Pill.
